In the summer of 2014, Marlon Fuentes and Kota Yoshioka traveled to Detroit to attend Moodyman’s Soul Skate event. The day prior to the event they spent digging for records at a handful of Detroit’s finest shops. Here’s a taste!

“We were tired after a long morning shoot in Valparaiso. Moments after boarding a bus to Santiago, these two rappers jumped on and started rhyming with a boombox. I immediately grabbed the cameras and started shooting. After their song we exchanged contact information with the two companions. We’re now friends on facebook and hope to collaborate again in the future.” – Marlon Fuentes
